Mehana is a dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a robust educational background and diverse experience. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology, alongside a Double Major Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sports Studies. During her undergraduate years, Mehana excelled both academically and athletically as a valued member of the Bishop’s Women’s Varsity Soccer Team.

Throughout her career, Mehana has provided support to individuals across various age groups, including youth, teens, and adults, addressing a wide range of issues such as behavioural challenges, emotional struggles, stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and relationship concerns. Additionally, Mehana specializes in working with recreational and university-level athletes, helping them enhance their performance and cultivate resilience both on and off the field.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Mehana is deeply rooted in a small-town, family-oriented lifestyle, finding solace and joy in nature and farm life. Raised in the countryside and equipped with a certificate in permaculture, she is passionate about extending mental health support to rural and agricultural communities. As a proud member of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA), Mehana actively contributes to the well-being of these communities.

In her therapeutic practice, Mehana fosters a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and pursue their personal goals. Known for her open-mindedness, approachability, and authenticity, she is committed to assisting clients on their journey toward healing, fulfillment, and happiness.
