My philosophy boils down to this: I’ve realized that no single explanation about human nature and behaviour can fully account for all that makes us who we are as people. There is no such thing as a conventional life, but a conscious decision to form unique conventionality.
The most crucial component of successful psychotherapy is developing a trustworthy relationship with the therapist. To foster this trust, I establish a non-judgmental environment where discussion of all subjects is encouraged. I try to be another person in the room with you, a reassuring and validating presence attuned to you and what you are going through.
